Jack Warden

Jack Warden, President & CEO of Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers (GoodwillSR), is an accomplished, innovative executive who has enjoyed an illustrious 30-year career within the snack food industry. His former roles include President of Golden Boy Foods and President & CEO of American Blanching Company. In these positions, Jack headed global multi-million dollar companies, achieving significant outcomes in financial performance, systems optimization and leadership development.

On his journey to senior leadership, Jack also served as the General Manager for Snyders-Lance and General Manager, Director of Engineering and Corporate Engineer for Tom’s Foods, Inc. A Tennessee native, Jack earned his Master of Science in Engineering Science and his Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Industrial Arts from Tennessee Technological University. His technical acumen and leadership skills allow him to understand the intricate operations of an organization while keeping the larger picture in frame.

Though Jack assumed his current position in May 2018, his relationship with GoodwillSR spans several years. Jack joined the GoodwillSR Board of Directors in 2011 serving as Board Chair between 2013-2014. His years on the board have equipped Jack with an intimate understanding of GoodwillSR, and he is apt to lead the organization forward in its mission to change lives through the power of work.

Jack has also served on boards for the American Heart Association, Columbus Riverfest, Columbus Tech Curriculum Advisory Board, TFI Pension Committee and United Members Credit Association. He is a graduate of Leadership Columbus as well.

Jack is an avid golfer, and he loves working on projects in his woodworking shop. He is married to Joanie Kilgore Warden, who is a nurse practitioner. Together, they have three children and four grandchildren.
