Meet Andrew!

A dancer, choreographer, artist, and thrifter-extraordinaire! With an eye for all things art, his creations are nothing short of breathtaking. GoodwillSR was first introduced to Andrew through Instagram as he transformed a thrifted sleeping bag into a stunning puffer jacket. Yes, you heard that right, a sleeping bag. After falling down the rabbit hole that is his Instagram and YouTube channel REISSUED, we knew we wanted to create something with him and around him. Through months of brainstorming, the CREATE Campaign came to be and we knew Andrew had to be included. Not only did we want to highlight the brilliant work of Andrew, we wanted to create a platform where other creatives could show off their thrifted works of art or even inspire those who may not have fully tapped into that creative potential.

Through CREATE we’re not only highlighting the fun and benefits of using Goodwill as a go-to spot for artistic inventory, but the benefits of shopping at Goodwill as whole. Every single donation and purchase goes straight back into the community with the goals of changing lives through the power of work. Create means a lot more than art and fashion, but also jobs and opportunities. We’re excited for people to join us on this creative journey, and we’re even more excited to be highlighting our first CREATE creator, Andrew. Through his art he’ll not only be inspiring others to embrace their creativity in new ways, but also paving a way for others through the creation of jobs and opportunities.
